My name is Karen and I am so happy to have you here.
I am a mother of four amazing children ranging from teenagers to toddlers, a wife, a feminist, a birth activist and general lover of life. I began my yoga journey with my first pregnancy and enjoyed it so much I continued with it. That was 15 years ago, and I have continued to learn and evolve my practice.
Your Birth Space was created to support women and their families on their journey through pregnancy and early parenthood. My passion is working with women through yoga to empower them to create a calm and nurturing environment to thrive in. Our services include Yoga for Pregnancy, Hypnobirthing and Birth Preparation. All services provided are focused on preparing women physically, emotionally and mentally achieve the best outcome for them and their baby.
This 6 week 1:1 programme is for you if you are pregnant or have recently had a baby. The programme is aimed at building strength and power of body and mind to enable you to navigate pregnancy, labour and birth related issues. This programme will benefit the beginner yogi through to the most experienced yogi as the emphasis is on creation and building new foundations to become strong and powerful on this new journey of motherhood.
The programme is 100% individualised and centred on your personal, emotional and physical needs. Together, we will design a plan that creates a quiet strength and inner balance that enables you to conquer the daily stresses of life while being pregnant or a new mother. We will incorporate modifications and adaptations of asanas to empower you to begin your yoga practice and gain the full serene benefits of doing so.
On completion of your programme you will feel calm, balanced, powerful and ready for welcoming your baby into the world. You will have the ability to reduce any discomfort of your pregnancy related issues through your perfect bespoke practice.
There is also the opportunity to book a further pregnancy yoga or postnatal block at a reduced rate.
